Here's what they have to say...
My husband and I did a lot of research on geothermal systems. We are at a point in our
lives where we want to be able to retire within the next 5 to 10 years and want to be able
to afford to live where we are. We live in a rural area and our heat and electricity bills have
steadily increased over the three years we have lived here.
We decided that geothermal over conventional heating and air conditioning was the way
to go. We needed to update our ancient furnace and central air units and the worksheets
Town and Country provided on improving our efficiency made sense. In addition, the tax
breaks offered were a huge factor in our decision.
The staff at Town and Country answered all of our questions efficiently and promptly. We
had at least three sessions discussing our options and weighing the pros and cons. Bob and
Lucas were our main contacts throughout this process.
In addition, the workers performing the install were extremely courteous, helpful and
above all – clean!!!!! There were days when the only way I knew someone was here was if
there happened to be a strange item in the garbage can!!!
The entire process has exceeded our expectations!
And --- as for the savings --- we have compared or ComEd bills from November of 2010
to November of 2011 and our kWh used have dropped by 362, lowering our bill by almost
$35.00. It has not been a very cold month, so we expect the savings to increase as the
winter progresses.
